Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

Version 1.1 · Last updated August 17, 2026
Operated by So It Begins, LLC (“Campaignia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These terms are a binding agreement between you and So It Begins, LLC. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Campaignia, you agree to all of the terms below.

1. Who We Are & Acceptance

Campaignia is a service operated by So It Begins, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. Campaignia lets you turn your tabletop role-playing game sessions into illustrated graphic novels and related content. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & Age

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Campaignia. By using the service you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete the account and associated data.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at sign-up, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content & Ownership

“Your Content” means the transcripts, notes, images, names, descriptions, and other material you upload to or generate with Campaignia, including the graphic novels and other output the service produces from your input (“Output”).

5. Acceptable Use

The following apply to all use of Campaignia, including private content you create only for yourself. You agree that you will not upload, generate, store, or share content that:

Stylized fantasy violence, peril, monsters, and combat that are part of normal tabletop storytelling are permitted in private content within the limits above.

6. The Public Library & Content Standard

You may choose to publish a story to Campaignia’s public Library. The Library is open to the public, is indexed by search engines, and carries the Campaignia brand. Anyone may read published stories for free.

7. Intellectual Property & Attributions

Campaignia, its name, logo, software, and design are owned by So It Begins, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the service.

Tabletop role-playing games and their associated names, settings, characters, artwork, and rules are the property of their respective publishers and rights holders. Campaignia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, and any reference to a game system in your content does not transfer to you or to us any rights in that system. Where generated content incorporates material that a publisher has made available under an open license (for example, a Creative Commons license), that material remains subject to that license, including any attribution requirements, and we provide the required attribution wherever such content is used.

8. AI-Generated Content

Campaignia uses artificial-intelligence systems to generate images and text from your input. AI output can be unexpected, inaccurate, or similar to other works, and the legal status of AI-generated material is still developing. You are responsible for reviewing your Output before using or publishing it, and for ensuring it complies with these Terms and the law. We make no guarantee that Output is original, accurate, or free of third-party rights.

9. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Campaignia infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (c) identification of the material you say is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (such as the story URL); (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material, will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, and will forward valid notices to the affected user. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the information required by the DMCA.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless So It Begins, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content; (b) your use of the service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or any third party’s rights. We may assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us.

11. Disclaimers

The service and all Output are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that Output will meet your expectations or be free of third-party rights.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, So It Begins, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

13. Payments, Subscriptions & Price Changes

Paid plans, tokens, and print orders are billed through third-party providers (such as our payment processor and print partner). Their terms and privacy practices also apply to those transactions. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

Price changes. We may change any of our prices, plan features, token allowances, and token pack sizes or prices at any time. For recurring subscription charges, we will give at least thirty (30) days’ notice before an increase takes effect. The new price applies beginning with the first billing period that starts after the notice period ends. If you do not agree, you may cancel before that date; continuing to use a paid plan afterwards means you accept the new price. Cancelling stops future charges and does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.

What the notice period does not cover. Prices for print orders and shipping are quoted at checkout and apply only to that order; they may change at any time before an order is placed, including when our print partner or carriers change their rates. Taxes and third-party fees are passed through as charged. Introductory, promotional, and trial pricing ends as described when it is offered. Price reductions, new optional products, and free features may take effect immediately.

Tokens already purchased. A change in token pricing does not change the number of tokens already in your balance.

14. Account Deletion & Termination

You may stop using Campaignia and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@campaignia.com. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information and private content within a reasonable period, except for content you published publicly, information retained in routine backups for a limited time, and records we are required to keep by law. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, licenses you granted for already-public content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Privacy

We collect the information you provide (such as your name, email, date of birth, and content) and basic technical data needed to run the service, and we use it to operate, secure, and improve Campaignia. We do not sell your personal information. We use third-party providers (for example, hosting, email, payment, image generation, and print) who process data on our behalf. A separate, fuller privacy policy may be provided and, when posted, will be incorporated into these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version number and the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the new version. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in North Carolina will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
